Edit the php-file for Multipurpose Style 2 menu

I´ve been playing around with the different menu presets and found that the Multipurpose Style 2 is a good candidate for a change. However I need to be able to insert some code in between the Top menu and Main Menu, which require me to alter the php-file for Multipurpose Style 2 Menu. However from what I can see, there is no such file. Only the “normal” menu presets exits.

Is there any way to add code to the Multipurpose Style 2 menu? I have tried the Header Editor, but can´t really get it to do what I want :-/

Hi,

The php files for the multi-purpose header styles are in the composer plugin here

You could edit them if this is required. What kind of code would you like to add in it? Maybe there is a different way.

Thanks

Brilliant, I’ll try that!

I actually just want to add the code for an ad to display in between the top menu and main menu (so pretty much like header style 4). However I would like to keep the underline border for active and hover over the menu links (as in header style 1 and the multipurpose headers). Figured just editing the multipurpose header file was the easiest way to do this, rather than to try and incorporate the underline animation into header style 4 🙂
