Edit to eliminate "By" before author name on posts

Good afternoon. We use the author name to also include names like “Sponsored by John Smith” with our WordPress install. I’m looking for the ability to remove/hide just the word “By” that precedes the author name/link. I attempted to look through the theme files to locate the correct file with that code with no luck. I’m not really interested in a cloud library file, we are happy with everything else with the general post format. Thank you.

Hi,

If is a pro demo, then you have set a single post template from tagDiv Cloud Library and you an edit it using tagdiv Composer like this -> https://i.imgur.com/qNgKe8p.png select the element and remove the text -> https://i.imgur.com/FoSTCch.png

Let me know the results!
Thank you!

Is there a way to get one of the basic templates via the Cloud Library? The templates that are built in to the theme match everything else on the site and work fine. The only issue is that bit of text. I was hoping you could tell me a function that was called that I could just place a custom version of in our child-theme functions.php.

Hi,

Yes, almost all standard post templates can be found in tagDiv Cloud library.
If you are using standard templates and you only want to replace that word, you can do this from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/8CRCGQ1.png -> https://i.imgur.com/vlLgnLf.png

Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
