is there a way I can change the social icon in the author box from style 4 to, let’s say, style 2? I tried via custom css, but the icon just desappears…

I would also like to change the color of the text in the author box from grey to white.

Hi,

Please send you site’s URL and a screenshot pointing to which text color and social icons you want to change. I need to know this and inspect it to provide a solution fore this.

You can change the icons style via css as all the social icons sprites are located within the theme files so you just need to alter the background image url and position to choose the icons style you want: http://screencast.com/t/Hfhs4ryi4L
The best way would be to inspect an icon style you like(like I did in the screenshot) and get the css you need from theme.
The color of the text can also be modified via css. If you don’t have any css/html knowledge we recommend you to hire a freelancer form site like: http://studio.envato.com/ because unfortunately we do not have time to do custom work as we work hard on the development, updates, fixes and support.
