Editing Categories

Hi,

I purchased, installed and added the demo data from the theme a few days ago – http://versifiedlife.com.

Could you please help me with a few issues I’m having:

1) how do I edit the categories from the demo data eg holiday recipes, fashion week, gadget world etc?
2) when I upload new content, how I do select which categories it appears in?
3) how do I add uploaded content onto the top section?

1. Go to wp admin, posts, categories
… Change names, add new ones, remove those unwanted
This is covered in wordpress docs … Codex.

2. When you make new post, you choose categories right side post page … In categories box.

3. Not sure which section?

I’m using the video theme and it has different sections and titles on the home page e.g. ‘gadget world’, ‘popular video’, ‘best smartphone’ and so forth. How do I edit those section titles?

Hi Chris,

I’ve just worked out how to edit the block sections via the homepage.

My new problem is I can’t work out how to select content for each of the the different blocks. All it says is ‘td_filter_defualt_txt’. Where do I select the posts?

Also, there are two sets of Facebook and Twitter share icons at the bottom of my posts. How do I delete the second set? Here’s an example http://versifiedlife.com/td_d_slug_34.

Where do I click in the theme panel to get to the screen you’ve displayed?
