Editing Old Post Type Styles

Any way to edit the old post types?

Have all this great looking new content with the cloud templates but everything before that release, across a wide range of post types, still looks the same.

Any solutions to this?

Thanks

Hi,

The best way will be if you migrate to TD Composer, in that way you will be able to use cloud template.
You can read more about How to move your pages to tagDiv Composer here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/

If you decide to take this step please make a full backup first.

Thank you for your understanding.

Not sure I made my question clear – for example this page was created with TD Composer https://brandinginasia.com/china-surpasses-u-s-as-samsungs-biggest-market/

I want to convert it to cloud template. I don’t want to have to convert all 5,000+ posts. How can I change a previous post style to the Cloud Template?

If you used a different post type than the one set in the theme panel for some (or all) of the posts, then you will have to import or edit the templates you have and deploy them for each post (meaning you edit each post) because the post setting overrides the theme panel.

Hi,

If I understand correctly you want to change the template for posts, if is so then all you need to do is to get a Single template form cloud templates ( https://www.screencast.com/t/iUd7SnXQp ) and in theme panel ( https://www.screencast.com/t/bQvuk0oe1 ), but if you have set on post templatye then you will need to do it manually for each post because the individual post setting overrides the general theme panel.

Thank you for your understanding.

So, for example I have upwards of 1000 posts in the Pre 9.0 version in template 1 or 2 or whatever.

I have to go and convert every individual post to the new cloud template of my choice?

? wow.

Hi,

You can set it from database, but first please make a full backup of all data form database.
You could try this solution, but is not tested prosperity.
Please make a full backup!
