Editing the Homepage defaults to "classic" with a wall of code

When I first click “edit” on the homepage, I’m presented with the WordPress blocks editor, with a wall of code.

It appears that I need to click on “tadDiv Composer” at the top in order to actually be able to edit the homepage.

I work very hard to make it so that I don’t have to do training when I had a site off to a client — I want things to be as intuitive as possible. So far no one I’ve asked intuitively knew they’d need to click “tagDiv composer” at the top to actually edit the page.

Is there a way to send users straight into the tagDiv composer when editing the homepage? Or any other suggestions for making it more intuitive?

To add to this, I notice that the cloud templates default to “Edit with tagDiv Composer” as the first option. Is there a way to set that for a single page? I suspect not, but it’s an idea…

That was the same conclusion I mentioned above, and unfortunately it sounds like there’s no known intuitive solution, so it will involve training and will be confusing for each new editor.
