Editor window auto-jumping when editing since WordPress 5.4 update – theme issue

Hi!,

Since updating to WordPress 5.4, the Post Editor window is experiencing random jumping when selecting text or placing the cursor.

Having spent time trying to track this down a solution, it appears that all previously similar issues can be traced back to a theme incompatibility with the updated version of WordPress.

I’m guessing the 5.4 has introduced a bug in Newspaper that is making it difficult to edit posts – random jump and auto-scroll to top/bottom of a page when placing the cursor.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Running WordPress 5.4 with Newspaper 10.3.2. Site is Wise Living Magazine and we’re using Chrome 80.0.3987.163 on macOS 10.15.4.

Everything else is working fine.

Hi,

I just make some tests and for me is working normal, please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
