Elasticsearch query

Hello,

I’m looking at using Elasticsearch on our server to manage our search queries rather than the native WordPress search which is quite frankly rubbish.

Does the Newspaper theme use the default WordPress search functionality or are there any custom modifications?

Hi,

We use the default WordPress search, only the ajax live search is made custom.

@Ben Iskander,
Were you able to successfully implement Elasticsearch? Did you get the ajax live search to work with Elasticsearch?
Any quirks to watch out for?
