Email obfuscator – not working in footer link

Hello,

I’m using the Email Obfuscator plugin from Till Kruss (https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/email-address-encoder) to hide email addresses from harvesters, and it’s working fine apart from the link in the footer that gets generated by the TagDiv Footer Logo widget.

I presume this because of the way the widget generates the email link. Is it possible to target this email address using a filter or something?

Thanks Lucian, Any ideas on how to make this work in my child theme? It works if I edit the parent theme but not by having the same file in my child theme folder.

Hi,

Unfortunately this file cannot be overwritten by the child theme. Sorry!
