We noticed an issue where embedded links could not be clicked.
In https://milelion.com/2024/01/12/ihg-one-rewards-offering-15-off-hotel-redemptions-worldwide-2/, attempt clicking on “IHG One Rewards offering 2X points for January 2024 stays” (https://ibb.co/M7BsdFZ) and you will realise that an error message is reflected on the console
“Failed to construct ‘URL’: Invalid URL”.
Upon inspecting the wp-embed iframe, I realise that the link is indeed a valid link as there is a tag and a href. To prove this, you may right click on the embed and click “Open link in new tab”.
Attempts to debug this issue includes:
– Downloading the “health check” plugin and entering troubleshooting mode
– disabling plugins
– ensuring wp is updated
however, the issue still persisted.
Could this be due to an update to the theme that causes this from happening?

Please reset the permalinks by pressing save changes in Dashboard -> Settings -> Permalinks. Make a test and deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache and try again.
