Hello,

I currently don’t have ’emoji’ support for my website?

When i embed a tweet with emoji’s in, the content after the tweet appears in blockquotes as well.

An example of:
1) The tweet i’m trying to add.
2) What it looks like in visual editor.
3) The final outcome, doesn’t show tweet template or emoji.

I don’t think WordPress has built-in Emoji support.
this may help you:

Hello @Christopher, yeah, forgot to mention i’m already using ‘WP Emoji One’ plugin, but it doesn’t seem to work through 3rd party links/embeds like Twitter.

Was wondering if it’s something to do with the charset.

When embedding through Twitter it has <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> at the end? Not sure if that conflicts with the themes default settings?

Thanks! 🙂

You might need to ensure that loads “last” at bottom of page after everything else.
I think you can “add” that to the tagdiv speedbooster plugin if you’re using that.

Dunno. Think this is going to be a question for the real tech support folk! 🙂

Hi,

@Gee95
Please try this without any plugins active and also check your console for error and let me know if you still have this issues.

Thanks
