I recently updated the theme and enabled the AMP plugin. Yesterday, I got this message on Google Console: “Google systems have detected that some of your AMP pages do not meet our guidelines; therefore these pages are not eligible for AMP-related features in Google Search. The Accelerated Mobile Pages report lists some of these pages”.

In “Accelerated Mobile Pages > Invalid CSS stylesheet (Critical issue)” it says:
“Fix your stylesheet errors to conform to AMP standards. AMP pages with invalid CSS stylesheets may appear in Google search results without AMP-specific display features.”

It’s seems like you guys placed “!important” property in AMP CSS, which is apparently not allowed for AMP. What is going on? Please help!

There are many topics here on the forum mentioning the issue. We are aware of it, it will be fixed along other AMP related issues in the coming theme update. This will happen as quickly as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

are you advising people to deactivate the tag div amp plug in untill it is fixed?
We are working as fast as possible to release the new update which will fix these issues. You could disable the plugin if you wish, there will be problems detected on the pages by AMP validators using the current plugin version.
