Usually, this problem can be solved if you use the mobile theme plugin -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/
Other kind of solutions can be done only with custom work in theme files.

I have activated this plugin and I still face the same issue. Now it’s even worse. They are files missing in the theme. Google refuses to index my posts.

As I can see in your screens the problem is related to a jquery problem https://i.imgur.com/A4LgZHi.png to fix it, you can try to use a jQuery plugin, Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and try this option – https://www.screencast.com/t/WYlKJVLi Clear all the caches (also the browser cache).
