I’ve seen and used the workaround for getting events to show in the blocks using tags. However, I have one area where I want to list all posts and events but if I do not filter the events do not show up. Is there any way to select all tags? I was hoping an * wildcard would work but it did not.

You will have to write all tags names there, as the theme doesn’t have an option to target all tags on block filter – http://screencast.com/t/RsXz6TckR8
