Is it possible to use any event plugin with Newspaper theme? I was trying to use wp eventin, there’s no way to display the shortcode on the page, it just shows as normal text

A shortcode can be inserted in our theme only by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. Now, it’s possible to be a plugin conflict there, but you can make a test on a test page.
“Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.

We can’t say if they will work or not. You will have to test and see. Also please note that we don’t offer support for untested plugins.
