Is it possible to make an exception for a picture not to open in modal mode ?
For example, when you click on this image it won’t open in a lightbox but it will open the image in the browser…
It would be useful for infographics because they need to be zoomed in…

You can set specific images to be modal or not when you add them to the post but unfortunately the setting from the theme panel activates modal image on all images disregarding their individual setting. http://screencast.com/t/zGwZuz4I6tJ
In order to have one image modal and the other not, you will have to disable this feature and set modal image manually on all your images.

You can achieve the effect you want by setting the modal image manual on specific images. It will be a bit hard to implement an option for it in the theme panel as it will require a lot of work from our side for an option that already exists when creating your posts. We will consider an option like this but i cannot promise that it will be a priority. I will add your suggestion to our update list.
