Excerpt questions

Hi,

I’m trying to get a bit fancy with my excerpts. My first problem is that there is no ‘excerpt’ field at the bottom of the post page, and I can’t figure out how to enable it. See the pic

I believe (?) that would enable me to retain HTML in the excerpt, but if not, is there any way to do that?
