Exclude Admin/IP Address from Post View Count

Hi,

Is there anyway to exclude the Admin account from affecting the post view count?

Is it possible to exclude by IP address?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hello,
Unfortunately the theme has no such option. It will have to be custom made. You can edit this file and add your custom code to it: http://screencast.com/t/IfT7CC9zpv3I
Unfortunately I cannot provide an easy solution for it. Sorry.

I second this question. I’m also looking to hide user roles or my IP address from being counted as a view or post count on posts. The view counter would be a good metric if it wasn’t so easily diluted by admins & authors.
