I have an extra black bar at the top of the homepage screen with the option to login and see the Events listing. I completely deleted the Calendar Events plugin but the bar is still appearing. I also disabled the other plugins one by one and it still appears.

i have checked your site but could not see any extra top bar apart from the theme one.
