Facebook app for social counter

Hi there. I am happy with newspaper so far and considering upgrading my other website. For this purpose I have installed it on my test server.

Unfortunately the social counter is not working. It is stuck at 0. I am using the latest theme 7.4 and the latest plugin 4.1.

Facebook changed the app creation process a bit. So the official tutorial from https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/ longer applies. Basically it does not ask your app type. Also it seems my app is not live.

Furthermore I do not completely comprehend how these apps work. I own multiple facebook pages. Do I need to create a different app for each different page? If so where do I configure which page this app relates too.

Right now I tried both creating a brand new app and using the identical app data from the original website. Both failed.

Any thoughts?

I was in the process of writing the email and then for the final part I wanted to figure out which block contained the data and then I noticed it went from 0 to 1416 likes. So for some reason it seems to be working now!
