The facebook counter shows 0. We have tested with other pages and with some if it shows the correct number and in others it shows 0.
This is a problem of the template or you have to put some special configuration on the facebook page.

I could take a look if you could provide a link to your website. There are no known issues with the social counter in the latest theme version. So if configured correctly it should work as intended.
Try to change the ID to a test ID like this for example, see if that displays accurate information

Then switch back to the previous ID.

The facebook page has age and region restrictions, we have tried another page removing the region restriction and it has worked.
The problem is that the facebook page that we have to use has to maintain those restrictions.
How can it be solved?

If there are restrictions or the Facebook page is not public the social counter will not work unfortunately. There would be nothing to do in that case.
