Using default template will auto add featured image on your single article. You don’t need to add an image in the article content. Just set a featured image.

Heyy, @Amit what should be the transformer rule to parse the p tag around images? I have no idea how to write the rule, if you can help that would be great. Just checked that 90% of my production articles has that issue.

@zseo, what transform rules for p tag is already defined in the plugin. There is no need to define any rule for it.
For Newspaper theme rules for some elements need to be defined like SUBTITLE, SOURCE, VIA.
