Hello, I need your help desperately.
I have been using Newspaper for a while for a news website which is connected to a Facebook page. I noticed today that a post on my WordPress site shows 5000 Facebook likes, but going back to my Facebook page there is not a single like. How is that possible?
I have obviously entered the Facebook page url in the theme panel social options and whenever I click on the visit Facebook button of the Newspaper theme it redirects to Facebook page without problem but the likes button look like it does nothing, although the counter goes up.
What is going on??

The facebook like counter here: http://screencast.com/t/YwIUwepnxcgH will count the number of likes the post received whether it’s on facebook or on your post directly. It will not count the likes from your page on facebook. Those likes are grabbed in the tagdiv.social counter widget if you set it up properly.

this is for facebook fan pages! URL to Like? its for facebook page like , not for single article to like, we need something where you can like every SINGLE article. If I put that code people will like my page and not my article/post. Please make this possible.
PEOPLE WILL THINK THEY ARE LIKE THE POST .. BUT IT WILL LIKE MY FACEBOOK PAGE 🙂

Sorry but there is no such functionality in the theme to like every single article with one click. I cannot provide a solution in this regard, sorry. You will have to find a plugin that can provide this feature but I do not know if such a plugin exists. i cannot make a recommendation.
