I recently published a post a generated about 32 likes within 30 minutes. I check back about an hour later and the likes on my post had been reduced to 0. Any suggestions as to what may have triggered this? Actually this is not the first time this has happened.

Unfortunately I cannot say for sure why this happens. It could be a database error, it could be a plugin conflict, it could be a custom code you implemented. There are lots of variables to any such issue. Unfortunately since the error is not ‘instant’ it is hard to debug. Try to create a testing sub-domain and see if you still get the error there.
