Hi,
I tried putting my Facebook app details to my website social widget, but after putting my Facebook id, Facebook app number and get token just as the tutorial explained. It still doesn’t display my Facebook likes on my website.
What do i do? Presently now, what’s displaying on my Facebook social counter is “0 likes” but its not whats on my Facebook fan page.
How do i get this fixed?

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.6) and Social Counter 4.1, otherwise, please try to update them only via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. Also, please ensure that you have right set your Social Facebook Counter according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial-2/ Try to clear all your caches and test it again and see how it will work.

I too am having issues with the Social Counter and Facebook.
I am on Newspaper 7.6 and Social Counter 4.1
I had my web developer look at it too and he said all the values are correct.
As this just started happening and others are having an issue, I don’t think it’s on our end.

I am having the same issue, twitter and youtube working fine.
Newspaper 7.6 and Social Counter 4.1
I have set up the app in the dev area of facebook as described, I have the required facebook details filled in the social media widget and am getting a token OK but I think I am missing something as I can’t see how the app can be associated to the facebook page if I don’t add the page info to the app??
Any pointers would be appreciated.

My fix, per the TagDvi team…
Turned out that FB automatically set my page to an audience of 18+
You must have your audience of 13+ for the counter to work.
” Larry, it seems that the Social Counter is properly configured, but the problem is related to your fb page which is not public, I cannot access it if I’m not logged into fb
Your fb page must be public, so Social Counter can pull the fb likes”
Once I set my page to 13+ the Social Counter worked.

And is it set to public? Try to access your page if you are logged out of FB. Or you might have not set it up properly.
