A couple of mouths ago I have raised the issue with facebook video embed. I have suggested to add the option so facebook videos can be added to the style 9, 10, 11 the some way how youtube videos are featured in those templets .
My question is- do you have any plans to add this function to your theme anytime soon?
In our experience we have found out that a lot of media organizations are publishing video’s on the facebook which they don’t publish on youtube. Therefore in our opion this function would be very useful.
We have just switched to your theme, however the lack of displaying facebook videos as featured is a setback.
Would be great if you could let us know if you are planning to implement this improvement at some point.

At the moment there is no such option for a fecebook featured video. It is still too early to tell if there will be such an option in the future so I cannot make any promises in this matter. The development team decides what gets implemented. Until such time you can maybe find a plugin that has such a functionality.

I highly encourage this in a near-future update also. I see it more commonly than Vimeo now.
