Hi,
The Facebook/Pinterest links in the Author Box are still broken. Was trying to figure out why I was getting 1000’s of 404 crawl errors in Google Web Master Tools, and realized the Author Box social links were causing the problem.
Facebook is linking to $sitename$pages$(then the proper Facebook link)
Pinterest is linking to$URL/$pinterestaccount

Did you uses the full address? ex. for Facebook – https://www.facebook.com/TagDiv – http://screencast.com/t/gDZ7hdvDQh5

Yes, this fix works. I was using relative URL’s.
