I tried to import existing articles from another blog, but whenever i try to use the WordPress Importer, i get the following error:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class WXR_Parser in …/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importer/parsers.php on line 12
Try to reinstall the Plugin already, did not help.
That plugin is not part of the theme. When you do an import you should switch theme on the target site to default WP theme (twenty twelve is safe one to use), then import files, then switch to new fancy theme like Newspaper.

I’m in process of migrating stories from one site to another one at a time to make sure stuff from OOOOOOLD WP will get clean new files in modern WP.
