In my word press portal, I am trying to delete pages that were the original home page for our website. When I try to delete these pages, this is what I get:

Fatal error: Class ‘"td_block_template_4"’ not found in /home2/u2e1o4v2/public_html/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/wp_booster/td_block.php on line 185

https://infomeddnews.com is the website. Please help.

Hi,

That is unusual, so deleting pages that are not used any more is providing errors with the theme. I have not seen this before so I could not say why this is happening. Deleting pages is a WordPress function, the theme does not interfere with this.

All that has to be done would be to click on the trash link and the pages will be sent to the trash section

I have tested this and there is no problem deleting pages and posts.

Maybe this is happening because of a plugin, try deactivating them all except theme plugins. Or maybe you have made modifications to WordPress files.

Thanks

Thanks Simion. Yes, we know how to delete pages and posts out of word press, etc. We tried everything you have said prior to receiving your reply. And still unable to delete the page. The host provider is insisting that their is a glitch in the template. This is associated with a wp_booster issue which I believe is in the theme?

Hi,

You could try to switch to a default WordPress theme and try to delete the pages again. That would work if the theme is somehow creating this issue.

We have never seen this problem before, there were no similar situations brought to our attention before from what I can remember. If there is still a problem send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information. We will take a look. Also include a link to this topic in the email.

Thanks
