I recently finished building my website using Newspaper, and I had my hosting company move the site over to the main domain from the sub-domain where had built it. The previous site was built in Weebly, and my hosting company deleted it to replace it with the site that I created. There were no issues with the site migration, and I have kept my sub-domain with the duplicate site for right now. However, I noticed that the favicon at the top of the site is still the old one when I’m in WordPress Dashboard, although the new favicon displays when I look at the website online. Why would that be?

It could simply be a caching issue. Please clear all cache from the cache plugin, cdn server and browser cache.
