Hello, I am using lightstart plugin as a maintenance mode page. The favicon is not showing up when added to the settings. ww-magazine.com and bowery-magazine.com both experiencing the same issue.
Also, service tickets can only be done publicly?
Please advise.
Hi,
You can to add the favicon, in Theme Panel -> Header -> Logo and Favicon => https://www.screencast.com/t/H4ucPC2wwz
Also, on the homepage there’s an option Customize icon => https://www.screencast.com/t/I2uVvP4b -> Site identity -> Site icon -> Change image -> publish => https://www.screencast.com/t/lY9WEOZEj
Also, you can check this article https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/appearance/favicon-in-search
Thank you!
Non of the options are working or would work for me. I need the favicon to work in general but right now I need it to work on my maintenance mode page. I don’t have the know how to start coding. Hence me purchasing a WP theme, in this case yours.
Why isn’t it working when uploaded in the theme settings? This is where you guys specified i should upload. Please advise.
Can you also answer the question about public service tickets?
Thank you
Hello,
So, what is the problem with the favicon is not displayed if you use this Lightstart plugin? If you want to have it, you need to ask the author of the plugin how to add it; also you have to wait for a period of time.
Please provide more details about what you mean by “Also, service tickets can only be done publicly?”
Thank you!
With literally every other theme I have ever used the favicon is set in the theme options. Just like you also have a section in the theme option to set the favicon. I only mention that it need to work on my maintenance mode page because you said there is also a setting on the homepage to set another favicon. I’m just giving you information. The favicon setting should work via the theme option section you guys provide and it doesn’t. How to fix this is all I want to know?
What I mean with my question about the ticket being public. I am wondering if there is an option to submit tickets privately, not for everyone to see like this ticket is for example?
Thanks
Hi martijnoso,
If you want to contact us privately, please contact us at the email address contact@tagdiv.com (usually this method is for problems that can not be resolved on the forum).
As for the option in the theme for the favicon, the option in our theme only applies to the elements in the theme, for example, if a page is made with our builder or a cloud template is used, but if a maintenance plugin is used, this is no longer part of our theme, as a shoulder the favicon element will not be displayed, as a result, my colleague’s advice was to set this favicon element to the default option in WordPress, so the element will be displayed all the time.
Thank you for your understanding!
