I have purchased Newsmag theme on my site (www.artharbour.gr) and a long time now I have a specific problem when sharing a post on facebook.
Neither the prime image nor article’s title is shown when sharing. The only thing shown is the url of my site (www.artharbour.gr). Let’s try this post for example http://www.artharbour.gr/eikastika/armeniki-vizita/ .
The problem it is not only in my shares but everybody’s. Sometimes in the past, after the latest updates the problem was solved. However, it’s been more than a month now that the problem persists, although I have completed all the updates. I would like a solution please..

I’ve checked your site and noticed that you’re using a plugin for share buttons from posts: http://screencast.com/t/jRonK8LtIC4M Unfortunately this plugin is not tested to work with the theme and we cannot guarantee it will work 100%. We have not tested this plugin and we have no idea of the plugin functionality in order to provide an answer.
Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer and the one from sharers, clear all caches and test again, maybe this will help.

Although there might be a misunderstanding. The problem we are facing has not only to do with the sharing buttons. The thing is, when we also tried to copy and paste article’s link (e.g: http://www.artharbour.gr/eikastika/armeniki-vizita/ ) and share it on our facebook page (or one’s profile page) the problem remains.
For some other articles the sharing is made correctly. For example our new editorial (http://www.artharbour.gr/editorial/fevrouarios-2016/) is shared properly just by coping – pasting the main url/ or via the sharing button.

note that FB does *NOT* always capture all the data properly when sharing, either via a button or manually posting into your stream/page — more common in mornings, or when busy. Generally the only thing you can is to ensure proper OG tags, and if sharing doesn’t work – share it, then click the ‘time since posted’ text link at top of post on FB for the item shared, then click right side triangle in post box to “refresh share attachment.”
We deal with this on daily basis going on about three years now.
FB simply doesn’t always capture stuff. Not theme, site, photo, or weather related. Their systems are processing billions of images each day, and not always works.

@Spyrosm I’ve checked your site again and the meta tags seams to be set properly. However when I’ve checked a post with Facebook developer tool I found this errors: http://screencast.com/t/CmPYjIjdw7p5 This are the current information which facebook have at the moment about this post. Please note that those information are not updated automatically. However you can force facebook to update them by using this options: http://screencast.com/t/PQL6a2ib0Jpa
Also make sure that the meta tags are set properly for each posts. We recommend to use SEO By Yoast plugin for this meta tags.
