I have written about this before, but the issue is still unresolved – blurred images when uploading to the blocks, but not when uploading the same images without using the blocks. The theme is recently downloaded and no added plugins. In other words, the feature-image when publishing a post using a block is of poorer quality than when publishing an image without using a block. I am using the Newspaper theme for another webpage, and the problem is NOT there. Again, I have no added plugins for the newly downloaded Newspaper theme, so the problem is not with incompatible plugins.
In addition, when I am trying to remove author identification for a block through the theme panel, the author identification still remains. This is also not the case for the older version of the Newspaper theme that I am using for another webpage.
I would like these two issues to be resolved, alternatively that I am reimbursed the cost of theme. I have written earlier on the matter, and I prefer not to spend much more time on these issues.

Just a follow-up: I see that the Newspaper theme is not affecting the clarity of the images for a third page that we are running in the USA. Is it possible that the host for the webpage where the problem with the images are can be due to restrictions by the host? We use different hosts for the three different webpages. Additionally, the image size for the blocks seems smaller than what is the case when using the two other hosts.
We have tested the same images with the same plugins, and the same column structure.

WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bbPress- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
