I am looking for a couple of clarifications. I attached a feature image to my homepage the other day, and it did not display at all. This was surprising to me because the other themes that I have had experience using would display the feature image prominently at the top of the page. However, when I tried to attach the same image as a feature image on one of my posts it displayed large and prominent like I was used to. I am guessing that this theme just chooses not to display the featured image on pages?
I’d appreciate it if someone could clarify a few assumptions for me. I assume that with pages the feature image is still the image used as a default image with social sharing and also the default preview image for widgetized areas. Am I correct on these assumptions?

Please notice that our theme does not display the featured image for pages but only it will be displayed on the blocks only if this page has been filtered to be showed into the block. If you will share the page or the post page, the featured image will be displayed there.
