Aloha folks,
I need the option on each individual post to show or hide the feature image, I can only find the setting that controls all post feature images. Thinking I need to add a custom metabox? Anyone out there done this yet?
Why do I need this? We RSS feed to a major metro paper and they want all images in the feed. Currently using FeedBurner and it does not pull/send the feature image – only images within post content itself. Cannot change the setting controlling overall site without losing feature images on all previous stories.

Unfortunately, there is no option for every posts. But, you can use a cloud template for posts and assign it to the posts you do not need featured image. Edit this template with TagDiv Composer, and delete the element called Single Post Featured Image, so that in this mode you won’t have featured image.
