Hello we have set a wordpress site using the Newspapper theme!!
We have change the default page width 1068px to 1300px.
On single post page where use the feature image.Although the image is cropped to 696 x 522px(YELLOW rectangle in image) and if we change the image’s width with css the images are became stretched.
The question is how may we change the theme to crop the image to 784*526(see here: http://tessera.gr/various/ticket_for_tagdiv.jpg)!

Unfortunately we do not recommend changing the theme with. This is the result of such actions and you will most definitely find other ‘broken’ elements as our theme was built with a fixed width in mind and all of the theme elements use this width for positioning. Images are no different. The container size was 696 pixels so we created a thumbnail for images in 696 px width. If you wnt to change this, you will have to edit the theme files and change the thumbnail size for the images: https://forum.tagdiv.com/td_api_thumbadd/
If you cannot do it, we recommend hiring a freelancer to help out from sites like studio.envato.com as this represents customization and falls beyond what the theme support can offer you.
