Feature request "- by …"

I was thinking that you could add a field “by…” so we can have a custom author’s name at the article (either at top, next to date, or at the bottom of the article area).

It could also include a contact email and short bio.

I am not talking about the user name of WP, I am talking about just a custom author name.

This will make sense in news-sites that have multiple authors writing under the same account

It could be something like your “via” and “source” fields.

Something for you to consider hopefully 🙂

Hi,

Thanks for your suggestion. I will add this on out feature requests list and we will consider it for future updates but we have to be very carefully though what we chose to implement as we have over 170 feature requests on our list so if more people will ask for this we will try to do it, until then if you need it we suggest to try to find a plugin for it.
