I would like to completely disable the ‘Post Settings’ box (see screenshot) that is active in the posts/pages section. For example, by using an option in the theme panel.
I want to disable this section because we don’t use it and it’s always in the way. I know that you can disable this via Preferences > General for posts/pages, but this is at user level. This also applies to the ‘Featured Audio’ and ‘Featured Video’ sections.
If this can be disabled centrally, I don’t have to disable it for all colleagues because they don’t know where it is. We just want to have a fresh look without unnecessary options that get in the way.
I think this is a good addition and that several people can benefit from it.

So it is very difficult to get this custom done. That is why it seems to me a nice addition to add this as an option in the theme panel. People who, like me, do not use it can turn off these annoying boxes. This way you create that people have more control over what they do and do not want to use.
