feature request: front-end submission for newspaper theme or create a new theme

Feature request. Front-End submission feature for newspaper theme or create a new (not news) stand-alone theme that is dedicated to front-end submission / content sharing wordpress theme.

I think community submission of news content will grow bigger and bigger and might even be the norm. Also, content submission attracts and grows visitors to a website.

Below are three themes to model front-end submission features / content sharing theme from:

Here’s additional information to my features request:

I would love to see this new feature, the ability to add front-end submissions by users. The add post to have the same formats submission as identified in the Bimber Theme’s front-end submission.

The submission formats are:

Story (text with images), Open list, Ranked list, Check list, Trivia quiz, Peronalist quiz, Poll, Versus, Not or Not, Meme, Audio, Video, Image, Gallery, Embed and Link.

If you do decide to implement, I hope you’ll also include:
– the ability to up and down vote a post and votes are tallied / calcualted
– the ability for admin to turn on/off highest voted posts to appear on top of category
– the ability for admin to choose between allowing registrants with verified emails to have their posts automatically posted or for admin to approve post first
– the ability to ‘report’ a post
– etc.

This is a feature that should have been there on day one! I upvote that this feature get added to the theme
