Feature-request "latest minus x"

Hi!

On http://www.livingsmarttv.dk we’re using the big-picture-module in top to show the latest news all in all and then below we have other modules showing latest news, latest reviews, latest tutorials etc.

This means that there’s always two copies of the same article. The latest one will always be shown twice like you see here:

ONE way to solve this, is to add a “minus x” to the module, so we can choose “show latest articles -1” so the module will show from the 2. latest and so on.

This way, the latest article will only be one time on frontpage.

Hello,
In the top slide why you can show featured articles?(important posts) and from blocks above you can remove them to avoid duplicates using -ID of the category Features as a filter for blocks.

The WordPress have an offset post function but work only in loop. We know about this, we have in mind a homepage with unique content(no duplicate posts) for future updates.

How to avoid duplicate on the cover?
How can you choose which news is displayed on each bolck ?

There are a lot of different ways you can avoid duplication on your homepage. You can chose different categories fort blocks, different sorting options, you can use offsets or you can use the unique articles option: https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
