you habe a great tool! I just discovered it and use it. What really lacks is the ability to show posts for a certain custom taxonomy (like it is possible for “categories”). This would be awesome!
And: news widgets should be aware of which posts are already shown (as a post is viewed, posts are shown in a block on a page or post that are shown in other widgets).
I used to use a theme (SmartMag) that did this and it was superb as no doubles did show up on a page. Just an “offset” is not enough to avoid theses occasions.
Are you open to enhance your plugins/themes in this direction?

Unfortunately the theme is quite limited when it comes to working with custom post types. These posts don’t have the same settings as default posts, blocks and grids have limited support for them (no filtering by taxonomy) etc.
For pages there is an option called unique articles, this will prevent duplicates

Something similar may be made for posts, so that the currently viewed post doesn’t appear in widgets present in the same page.
There are plans for both the suggestions you mention. But I can’t say when the focus will be on them fully. There are some other priorities at the moment, and new features in work.

thanks for the reply. Unique Articles will work, thanks – and a CPT support would be great. Using articles belong to a custom post type seem to be not to difficult to realize…
Another NEW question: it would be good to get “random” articles not only by “last 7 days” of “over all posts”, but by “last 30 days”. If a website is not too active as ours, a month seems to be a good period while seven days are a bit too short to get enough article grabbed.
By the way: the random option itself is a really useful feature. Bot for everybody and in all situations. But we e.g. grab “interviews” (category) randomly and re-present them as interviews have often a long term impact.

Maybe an option to sort by random from a defined period of time you can set, that may even replace all three current random sorting methods. I will make a note of this in the request list.
