Featured Articles on front page

I had an intern accidentally delete the category “featured”

I recreated the category and selected it on a few posts again. But, I can’t seem to get the featured article to show up in a grid at the top of the main page anymore. Is there something I need to do to connect these featured post on the front page to the new category? Thanks

Hi,

If you deleted your featured category you can recreate it using this default name and slug like this

Then the featured category will be the same as before, add posts to it and use it.

Hi Simion, in this case, can just the slug be name it as “featured” or must be both, the category name and the slug? The ID of the category for Featured doesn’t matter?

Hi,

I believe either the category Id or slug must be named as Featured. But it is better to recreate it as shown to make sure it works properly.
