The featured image doesn’t appear when editing my page.
Also, the templates in the pages are not the same as it is set in the posts, isn’t suppose to be the same?

Hi,
The pages are not able to render the featured image and also pages cannot display as posts. They are 2 very different things. A post is customized from the post settings by selecting a predefined post template, but pages can be edited in visual composer so you have access to lots of elements that posts cannot display like blocks, big-grids, sliders and all visual composer elements.

The featured images can be added for pages like so: http://screencast.com/t/Ycbnwyaamt but the image will not be visible anywhere unless you create blocks on your homepage and set them to show pages. That is why the featured image is there fore, so the blocks can show you an image if you filter pages inside them instead of posts, but this image will not be visible on the page itself.

If I add content in the classic format, will the featured image be visible?

I meant that the homepage will not show the image in it;s content. OK, I understood, then this is what said if add normal content in the text area without using blocks, the featured image won’t appear.
