Featured image error when displaying over 1200px wide screen

when ever i have my browser wider then 1200px the 3 side feature images disappear and and the main featured image gets wider. My page is set as responsive 980px so it seems that my page is responding as if it was set to 1080px.

my website is GuruScoop.com

here are two links showing how the site looks when under the 1200px browser width and over the 1200px browser width.

under 1200px: image 1

They said it shoould be fixed in version 4.1

Hi,

We will fix this in the next update, the big slider should be fixed via CSS for the 980 layout.

Not to rush you guys or anything but will this be fixed via CSS for 4.0.3.
I just would like to have a time frame to work with this situation in the mean time.
