I am using the baby theme. I set the featured image in every post and I have the boxes all checked and selected in the theme but on the post itself the image does not show at the top. But if I double click on the blank spot the image comes up in a pop up. Why is this? If I unselect the featured image in the theme, the empty box goes away so I know it is working.

Please make sure that you do not have any plugin conflicts, please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and try again.
IF this is not working, please add this custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css ->

}

Now that I have this CSS code and the picture is now showing up in the post it is too small and causing AMP issues.
How do I fix that? Why is this an all of a sudden issue? never had it before.

I inspect your feature images and those are to small, the theme can create thumbs if the image is bigger, but if this is small the theme can not create a bigger thumbs ( bigger then the original size of your image ).
