featured image is no longer displayed

Hello,

after updating the Newspaper Theme from 12.5.1 to 12.6.1 i noticed a problem with the single template.
The featured image is no longer displayed.

when i set the single main template to global then i see the old one

i cleared the cache, now i see the main theme on every language, i the cause i set it to global, but how can i get back at see the old themplate?

i restored now a backup
the template is the single_template_6 which i customized, therefore i can`t edit it anymore with the composer
but i think the problem is with the js from the initial template 6

Hello,

i know, this was a cloud template , but i changed the code therefore i cant use the composer anymore. But that`s not my problem. I use the child theme. Is there an update for it since 12.5.1?

I have a local version with 12.5.1 which works well. My production Version is 12.6.1. Since the update the featured image stopped working. If a developer can see the site, then he will notice the js error in the developer console.
