Featured image NOT clickable to post … why?

I have done as the author first suggested and selected Theme panel/POST SETTINGS/GENERAL MODAL IMAGE and clicked to turn it from off to ON … and nothing happens when I click on the image. With ThriveThemes they automatically make a page or post header (featured) image clickable to the post or page that it is featured on, and I shamefully assumed this great theme would have done the same sort of thing.

My previous theme used on my site where I’ve installed Newsmag now, forced me to manually link EACH header image to the post’s URL and thus I do NOT use the Featured Image option … but would like to be able to use this feature given that I have purchased an up-to-date theme.

Any suggestions?

Hello Triblu,

Ensure that you have not closed this option even in the image when you load it on the website, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/LOUiLD634mHU Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, please provide your website URL so I can inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thanks for the message!

Hey Catalin,

The problem for me is that this is an older website that I am updating from a theme purchased here a few years ago now.

Am starting to be REALLY amazed by THIS theme and am seriously praying it’s kept up to date for a few years ’cause I have LOTS of work ahead of me, making it so I can use the different options in this theme … and I would HATE for my extra work to be in vain, say, a year from now.

Thanks,
Trish
