i have a problem after upgrading the theme. i no more see the full featured images in all my posts.
i see only a small line of the picture.

I have checked your website and saw your problem with the featured image. I suspect to be a problem might be caused by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflict between plugins. Please check if your problem is still there after this advice.

As i suspected, Thumbnail Upscale plugin is the root cause for the problem.
Do you know how i can fix this issue and also want to run the plugin.

Until now, we do not have any reports with this kind of plugin, Thumbnail Upscale. We recommend to our users to use the functionality of this plugin. Please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer and Thumbnail Upscale, clear all cache and check if your problem is still there. I have installed this plugin on my side and works fine. Or, it is possible to have some errors with other plugins wich could produce this issue.
