I’ve compressed my image sizes so that they will load on mobile, and now one isn’t appearing on my homepage in desktop. I’m also having issues with an HTTP error when uploading images into the media server even though they are less than the memory limit.

First of all, please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and if yo9ur are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicts. Make sure if your system status is correctly increased according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ You can try to disable the lazy load option from theme panel, clear all your caches and test again.

I was able to solve for the issue of the featured images not displaying on the homepage. Which was the image file size, and the Retina image thumbnail creation option. I also added the Regen Thumbnail plugin and this has solved my issues of images not rendering on iphone.
As for the HTTP error when uploading to the media library. I believe this has to do with the actual dimensions of the image if they are too large, but need to troubleshoot further. Any thoughts on what the HTTP error could be? I’ve found several threads where this seems to be a reoccurring issue with WP.

I have checked your website on mobile and the website seems to work as properly, and the featured images still working fine. Where is the problem? Also, I have checked your console and I saw that you are some js errors within it. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled wit the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.

Thanks for the follow-up! I have resolved the issue of the featured image. The only plug-in I am using that is not “supported” is Yoast SEO. I can not seem to find the WordPress SEO plug-in that is recommended for the Newspaper theme…

Please keep in mind that the Yoast Seo is fully compatible and recommended with the theme and not WordPress Seo plugin, sorry! Please notice that the name of the plugin keep changing but the author should have to be Team Yoast, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/kmnEjOE3Y6

I would like to point out that on the PLUGINS TAB, the “Tested Plugin” is listed as WordPress SEO and not Yoast. It may be confusing for some…
