Featured image on Facebook

I one problem left before I can call my site complete 🙂

When I make a notice on Facebook to a post on my site, it’s not the featured image that are shown om FB. It’s the logo of the site.
When I refere from another media, a newspaper, it’s the image from the article that are shown.
How can I change that

For the featured image you will have to use SEO Yoast plugin.

But how can the SEO Yoast plugin help? Are there any special setting that solves my problem

Hi,

Sharing on socials require og metas to be loaded https://developers.facebook.com/docs/sharing/webmasters/
These can be added by various methods, usually with SEO plugins, such as the Yoast SEO plugin https://yoast.com/help/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/

The theme will not add the og metas, you must add them by the desired method. If not, there will be sharing issues, such as the one you mention.

After installing the Yoast plugin or adding the og metas, you can test the post with the Facebook debugger https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
